Sob story: Hillary and Obama operatives out of work, grieving, can't find employment

Nancy Pelosi has the answer to Democrat unemployment.

To paraphrase the immortal Albert Rosenfield, "This is what we call a real three-hanky story."

The folks at The Politico are pacing the floor, wringing their hands, furrowing their brows, and fretting about jobs. No, they're not distraught over the 95 Million people who are out of the labor force. Those people can fend for themselves. They're troubled by the impending poverty facing Hillary loyalists and operatives in Washington D.C.

Thousands of young idealists were employed by the Democrat machine that nominated Hillary Clinton, stripped its gears, and ground to a screeching halt. So what do they do now?

Since there will be no "President Hillary" these wide-eyed optimists are left shivering in the streets, desperately searching for a way to pay off their massive beltway bar tabs.  How - how - will they afford martinis and steak sandwiches now?

It seems that backing the wrong pony had some pretty severe career implications.

The job market is about to get even more crowded for Washington Democrats, as thousands of Obama appointees join the hundreds of Clinton campaign staffers looking for employment.

There’s rarely been less demand for their services.

The Trump tornado is tearing up post-election planning around the Beltway. It’s not just that those 4,000 administration jobs are no longer available to Hillary for America alumni, or that failed Senate candidates like Russ Feingold and Katie McGinty won’t be able to hire their staff on the Hill. There are also the lobbying firms, trade associations and corporate government affairs offices that are pitching senior Obama aides’ resumes into the round file while scrambling to hire operatives with Republican connections.

It’s insult to injury for a generation of young operatives who are still managing their shock and grief from Hillary Clinton’s loss. And for those who want to fight to keep President Barack Obama’s legacy from being erased, there aren’t a lot of places ready to pay them to do it.

I'm confused. According to the press, being out of work is basically a thing of the past. Thanks to the glorious wonders of the Obama era, joblessness has been all but eliminated. Clinton campaign workers - whose success speaks for itself - should have no trouble finding gainful employment.  If we believe the media, there's a help wanted sign hanging in every window. Go grab one and get to work.

...But, hey, why get a new job at all? Unemployed Dems should remember what Nancy Pelosi said!

“You want to be a photographer or a writer or a musician, whatever —  an artist, you want to be self-employed, if you want to start a business, you want to change jobs, you no longer are prohibited from doing that because you can’t have access to health care, especially because you do not want to put your family at risk” - Pelosi

See? ObamaCare has freed them from the need to slave away for a "boss."  The ACA is still in effect, so this is their opportunity to embrace the promise of President Obama's signature law and chase their dreams.

Democrats, get out there and make some pottery..

Enjoy yourselves...
