New! Live in-studio video of The Herman Cain Show's first hour every day on Facebook
Via YouTube. Because your eyes will be jealous of your ears if all you can do is listen.
I told you we'd be making some changes to The Herman Cain Show this year, and we're doing it! We've already told you about Cellphone 24/7, but that's just the start.
We have started this week videocasting the entire first hour of the show - every day at 10 a.m. Eastern - on our Facebook page via YouTube. In case you missed it, here's the entire first hour of yesterday's show:
Why are we doing this?
As I've told you before, we've moved away from the radio syndication model because, candidly, it's dying. With most content now living on digital platforms, it makes more sense to deliver it to you via the Internet sites you're visiting most of the time anyway. The show is heard on five radio stations, but there's no reason that should be the limit of who can hear us.
Or now, who can watch us. We're a nationwide show, and I refuse to accept that anyone in the nation should not have access to us just because of the limitations of the radio syndication market.
Also, those of you watching the YouTube feed will get a bonus, since I'll have the opportunity to speak directly to you during the times when the radio audience is hearing commercials. The economic model on YouTube is different, and we don't have to air commercial segments to earn revenue. Over the radio airwaves, we do, but at those times I can talk to our video audience exclusively. And those segments are fun!
So what do you have to do to watch?
The easiest way is to like our Facebook page, because we share every YouTube live broadcast to Facebook. If you're not already our fan, join the 1.4 million who are.
If you want to follow us on YouTube, you can do that too! Here's where you'll find our channel.
The Herman Cain Show has been one of the most enjoyable and fun experiences of my life since we debuted on Inauguration Day 2013. But that Inauguration Day wasn't so good for the country, was it? We've got much better things coming this year, so watch, listen, call in and be a part of it. We're streaming live every day! You don't want to miss a thing.
